Potty Trained?

I think we may be finally potty trained. She hasn't had an accident in three days. She is going to the bathroom on her own (even # 2). I am so thankful for chocolate chips (baking kind) and dum dums.
"Hey Mommy, I just went to potty and poopy. So can I have a sucker, you know a dum dum."

I tried to get this to upload. It wouldn't work so maybe this will? We have been asking Charlie for weeks what she wants to be for Halloween. I have gotten lots of answers: dragon, pumpkin, witch, super wyatt, super girl, knight...but never the same twice until....

Charlie: "Mommy, Do you think I am odd?"
Mommy laughing: "Yes, but I love you so very much."
I never could figure out why she would ask if I thought she was odd until I was telling someone at work what Charlie wants to be for Halloween.... I have one very odd three-year old.

look at that face

I know, I am a horrible mom. I let my child cry just so I can get this adorable picture. What is it about that bottom lip? I just love it.

Jack-the-lantern

I love carving pumpkins.

Charlie didn't like getting her hands squishy and gooey.

Retreat at Wind Rush Vineyard

These are the lovely ladies from Church that went to the retreat with me. Well really I should say that the four of us were the only people in attendance. I think God knew that Terra and I needed that. Levi was born three weeks ago. Brantley went with me. We stayed up kind of late and played this really cool game called Imagineifff. I think I am going to have to ask for it from my mother for Christmas. It is such a great game.

We went to this great little retreat center in Edmond. I would love to rent it out for a girls weekend of scraping...For a group to rent it would not be that expensive. There is plenty of room to set up card tables as scrappy space.
It made me laugh when the owner said that she would turn on the creek in the morning. Yes, I said turn on... growing up in Arkansas we had real creeks not ones that you turn on. I just found it really funny.

Here is the view from the small pond. There is a bridge that Charlie would just love. The place is just simply beautiful.
We were told to pack sleeping bags because they didn't know how many people would be attending. Not only did I get this incredible bed but I got my own room too. How great is that for a "retreat."
I really loved my stay at Wind Rush.
We went to Colten's birthday party at celebration station. I so do not like that place. There are way too many doors. Charlie got away from me twice. I so do not like that place!

Now look at this happy baby! He sure is a great kid!

Charlie has been playing jump rope a lot lately. She takes her shoelaces out of her shoes to use as a jump rope. She so loved this game. She wasn't very good at it ticket wise but she had a great time.

Look, a picture of Uncle Donnie! And, he is smiling!
This one is priceless.

Chester's Party Barn

We went to Chester's. Gant, Grandma, and Aunt Mistie (and baby) came with us. It wasn't as fun as last year. The corn maze was shorter and so was the slide. Can you tell Charlie had a great time? She loves that sandbox. Really all she needs to stay happy is a pile of dirt and a shovel and pail. I wonder if she will grow up to be someone who digs in the dirt?
