Big Sister's Here

I spent 9 months plus worrying about Charlie. Will she be okay if/when we have another child? I should have known when she asked (before we were pregnant) "Where's my baby brother?" that everything would be okay. She is a little rough. But, she is so super sweet. Any time Brantley cries she rushes over to him and says "It's alright brother, Big Sister's here." She wants brother by her side no matter what she is doing. She has to tuck him in at night. She has to kiss him all the time. She just loves her baby brother. All my prayers have been answered!
Everything is alright because Big Sister is here!

Still waiting

So after not being in hurry for Brantley to get here I have been wishing today. I just knew that he was coming today b/c it was a full moon and he is not here. :( I want him here NOW!
Dusty has called home 6 times today asking "Can I come home?" Well, at least his room is done. Here are some pictures. I will add the last wall when we move my school bookcases out to the scrapbook room.

I had to add a Charlie comment too... When we were getting ready for Grandma Jindra's funeral she put on Dusty's shirt and tie. She said, "Look mom, I'm getting married." What a silly little girl!

Isn't this just the cutest pirate on a treasure hunt that you have ever seen? Okay so I am just a little biased!
How great are these three cousins? Gant did not want to say ARR! Charlie and Will, on the other hand, they were great pirates!
Make a wish, Take a deep breath....
and blow out those candles! Yes, if you look closely you will see 7 candles on a three year olds cake. Dusty just had to have the sparkle candles coming out of the cannons. Yes, those candles that re-light themselves. That is why we have three on the front for Charlie to blow out that won't re-light.
I
I love these pirates!
As you can tell we had a great pirate adventure!

Happy Birthday Charlie!

I think that I have a very odd child. She wanted a pirate party. So on Sunday we will have a pirate party. For her birthday she got two pirate books. One of them also had some dress up clothes in it.
I say that she is odd b/c for months we have asked her what she wanted for her birthday. The only thing that I could get her to tell me was a Yoga mat. Yes, you heard right a Yoga mat. So her "big" present was a yoga mat and yoga cards from Barefoot books. As soon as she opened her mat she had to go do her Yoga Kids video. She is an O.D.D. child!
Olive Garden had their company picnic on Charlie's birthday...and where should it be at but Incredible Pizza so Charlie got to go there for her birthday. Thank you Olive Garden for the cool birthday adventure for free!
Grandma Linda gave Charlie dance lessons with Mrs. Tracie for her birthday and all of her dance stuff too. She had so much fun learning tap and ballet. She went to the Dance like a Princess Camp for one week. Doesn't she just look so cute in her dance clothes!
So today we got our last present for Mammaw and Pappaw. Charlie has been crazy about where the sun goes when it gets dark. So, we have been telling her that it goes to Australia then to Asia and then to Europe before returning to us in the morning. Mammaw and Pappaw bought her a very cool globe. Can you see how excited she is when she pointed to Europe? "Mommy, it's My-up."
Happy 3rd Birthday!!! We love you Charlie!
