PJ Snow Day

Today is PJ day at school, but school is closed because of snow. It's Oklahoma, we don't have snow we have ice. They should call them ice days instead of snow days. Anyway, so it is a pj day at home. I would have to say that is even better. I slept late, Dusty made eggs and bacon for breakfast and I am staying in my PJ's today! After breakfast Charlie had her first experience with sledding. Doesn't she just look so happy!

Here is Dusty explaining how you sled using the tiny ramp we have attached to the deck for his scooter. First you hold on tight and lift your feet.

Then you lean back and slid forward.

Doesn't she just look like she is having a ball. Next it is off to Mustang Middle school down the block to sled down the hill they have around thier football field. I stayed home. I didn't want to get Brantley out in this weather when it is still sleeting/snowing.

Now here is the really funny part. We live in Oklahoma so sleds are very rare. You can't just go down to the local Wal-mart and purchase them. What do you think that my brilliant husband would use for a sled? Yes, you guessed the lid to the toilet seat! Isn't that just the funniest thing ever. I don't know why the lid is not on our toilet. I just know that with a hole drilled in it and scrapbook cording attached Charlie has a nice new sled. I just hope that Dusty's phone will get at least one picture of her sliding down the big hill.
